Antiquitas Lost to launch at Comic-Con

Antiquitas Lost is slated for world premiere at the New York City Comic-Con, which is taking place October 13-16, 2011 at the Javits Center.

Over 100,000 guests are anticipated. The publisher, Medlock Publishing, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has secured the premiere banner ad for the convention's website for the month of October, 2011, as well as a full page ad in the 2011 convention guide. The author, Robert Louis Smith, will man a booth in the conventions premiere floorspace area and the illustrator, Geof Isherwood, will man a second booth in the Artist's Alley section of the convention. Medlock has also hired Oscar nominated special effects artist Adrien Morot to design and build a costume for the novel's antagonist, Malus Lothar. This costume will be worn during the New York convention by actor Scott Mason, who appeared in a small role in 2011's Oscar nominated True Grit and is currently performing in a larger role for the upcoming Nick Cassavetes film Yellow.

Following an appearance at the New York Convention, Robert and Geof will appear at the Halifax, Nova Scotia Hal-Con convention in November, 2011, and Robert will also appear at the New Orleans comic convention in January, 2012.
